I
wanted to paint two kinds of views. Ones in which my eye has time to
linger, and others passing by as momentary flashes.
I painted images from my everyday views, from places so familiar that I
donīt see them any more.
I found the the views that change rapidly and have an intensive pulse
from my 14-year-old sonīs play station games. Out of curiosity, I
started to watch them to see what they arouse in me. At first they felt
strange and scary, something in me resisted watching them. But step by
step they began to fascinate and attract me like a magnet, I started to
feel safe as if I had returned to the original connection, into a world
where there is always somebody answering the call: Iīm here, is anybody
there!
